Ms. Colvin is the Founder and Lead Therapist for The Comfort House, LLC. She is a seasoned psychotherapist with over 15 years of experience in the mental and behavioral health field. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for the state of Missouri and a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) for the states of Alabama and Tennessee. Ms. Colvin received her Master of Social Work (MSW) and Master of Public Health (MPH) degrees in 2010 from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri. She is trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness Meditation. She specializes in anxiety disorders,
depression, emotional dysregulation, trauma, and spiritual conflict. Ms. Colvin believes that we are all spiritual beings living in a natural world and not every experience requires a diagnosis. Each part of our being (Mind, Body, & Spirit) needs to be in divine order to become our best selves. Her approach is strength based, person centered, comfort driven, and hope focused. Thus your treatment will be tailored to fit your therapeutic needs.
